I can't say, I never ran Tiger on a Wallstreet although I've heard good 
things.

BUT... You don't need to install Panther first, you can install Tiger 
directly.

I'm not sure about installing it on another machine.  Are you doing that 
in order to install Tiger from a DVD?  I'm not sure how you get the 
XPostFacto code installed.
