I started hearing faint music. Not music I wanted to hear. I

the music continues. If I turn the computer volume up, the music

somewhere. This has never happened before. How is it happening?
How do I get rid of it?
My guess would be that you have a poor connection somewhere. Metal
oxides can produce effects similar to diodes, one of the oldest
applications of which was the crystal radio. See here, especially the
section on the 'foxhole radio':

I would check all the connections that you have, especially if you
have RCA audio plugs or other jacks that are not gold-plated, and any
ground connections.
