Put your aluminum foil cap on...

I started hearing faint music. Not music I wanted to hear. I figured out it's coming from the external speakers I've got plugged into my Powerbook. It's a radio station. It's not coming through the computer, however. If I close the lid so the computer sleeps, the music continues. If I turn the computer volume up, the music doesn't get louder. Seems like I'm picking up interference from somewhere. This has never happened before. How is it happening? How do I get rid of it?

        TIA
