Bruce- thanks- I expected the new Macs WOULD be WiFi capable but had no idea 
how to determine that. My search questions were not getting me anywhere.  Now- 
yup it's there.  I am not asking you to tell e how to use it--but if you could 
point me in the right direction now that I know it is available...I'll also try 
more queries to HELP and see if I can get information.  Thanks so much again!

It may. CLick on the Apple menu, then About this Mac.

Then click on the More Information button and look for Airport in the network 
connections. If it's there, yes you have WiFi, and yes you can haul it into the 
library. A buddy of mine did that for a few months when he was itinerant after 
Katrina wiped out his house.
