In this town, most Hummers and huge SUVs are driven by tiny women, and six-foot guys drive Volkswagen beetles and other assorted small cars. Same with computers: at most cafes, you tend to see men typing away in either plastic MacBooks, sleek MBAs or microscopic netbooks, whereas women sport all the huge 17" behemoths, Mac or otherwise.
It inevitably brings to mind the 12" and 17" PB commercial with Yao Ming and the midget actor. Not sure if it's a local phenomenon, though. Just my 2 cents from Miami Beach, FL.
