Brian---- thanks----I may just take you up on that- I have two more other
simple things--and someone suggested trying a startup disk--hate to show
abysmal ignorance- but WHAT start up disk?  I have nothing that came with
it--it was already at least 5 years old.  I DO have all the OS disks if that is
all it takes and I do have the cd module--may give it a try and see if anything
at all happens.  If I KNEW it was the battery0which I suspect it is not- I
would just go ahead and get another one--which I tried to do but the one I
bought on eBay was WRONG and I have not gotten around to trying again.
Where are you located? I'm in Maryland.  I found a Wallstreet for sale on
eBay- and the seller lives about 15 miles from me-!  This hit or miss stuff
seems more than just a tad iffy and I am simply not
knowledgeable enough to be able to pinpoint the problem area!

Thanks--Sheryl
