I got my hands on a G3 500mhz Icebook, and I'm looking for some help and tips. It's running 10.4.11 right now, has 320mb of ram, and a CD-rom drive. The HDD is nearly dead, and I plan to replace it as soon as spring break rolls around. The keyboard was the wrong kind, but I've trimmed the tab off the bottom, and all that's left now is finding a "?" key and a Delete key plus hinges for it. It's got an airport card, and a good 3ish hour battery, but the DC-IN board is screwed up, and you must have the AC adapter plugged in just right for it to work. What I"m wondering is: What can I do to get the most out of this? Currently I have FireFox 3.6 on it, but Gmail takes forever in it's normal Javascript state, and Basic HTML isn't much better. Any software that you could reccomend? Anyone here have a spare keyboard, or the two keys I mentioned from a dead keyboard that they'd be willing to put in an envelope and mail me? Many thanks (PS: this suprisingly replaced my PC laptop for the past week, and it might end up being my college laptop if all works out.) -Pizzaboy192
