I am positive that the live cd's are ppc and i have tried the "C" boot
key and the option key , also when i use the option key the cd
appears with the tux penguin on it but when i click on it to boot it
the screen flashes and the curser changes to a linux curser but the
screen doesnt change . In os x & os 9 when i try to select the boot
disk it doesn't appear or it is grayed out . How would i use open
firmware commands to specify the cd unit? I currently don't have a
windows laptop to update the firmware but i don't think this is the
problem since it boots osx cd's and dvds so flawlessly . I know the
media that i burnt the live cd onto is ok because i also made copy's
of my os x cd's that were scratched on it and they worked fine. Thanx
