Curious to know if anyone has had problems with a Lombard not recognizing a NuPower battery. I have a Lombard (running OS 9), swapped out its old battery (which only holds about an hour's charge), and put in a 71 watt hour Li-ion NuPower (marked "For Apple Powerbook G3 models"). The Powerbook wouldn't recognize the battery. It acted like there was no battery there at all.
I did a quick check, and the battery works fine in my Pismo (running OS 10.4). I've been using it as a spare for that unit. But I'd like to get the Lombard set up to tote around as a backup (to my backup, as it were). TiA!
