You could set up the 12/640 for IP, if you still have a machine that will load Classic or OS9 to set the IP address. I have a LaserWriter 16/600 and use IP printing so I can see it wirelessly throughout the house. I have mine set to x.x.x.199, so no danger of another DHCP number getting assigned to that one.
