Hey all! I'm working on creating some video clips for the Profiles section of LEM, using my PowerBook G3 Pismo as the subject of three test clips for evaluation by the rest of the staff.
So far, we're looking at these three sections: Overview - a short section on general information about the Mac being presented. Upgrading and Repair - a clip showing, when possible, how to upgrade and repair your Mac. Special features - a clip showing off the special features of the Mac being presented. If you've found any particularly handy features of your Pismo, have any stories to share about its features, physical characteristics, batteries, etc., or if you have any tips for upgrading or repairing it (including where to find the best parts), please post them on this thread. For instance, John Hatchett just posted a neat column on LEM about replacing the Pismo's feet, and this process might be mentioned in the Upgrading and Repair clip. If you have any cool pictures of the Pismo you'd like to share for possible inclusion in the beginning of the Overview clip, please email them to me at [email protected]. Pics must be 800x600 or larger, jpeg, tiff, or png only.
