Notorious screw. I believe iFixit even noted in their tear down guide how troublesome it is. If you manage to remove it, definitely find a more solid replacement!!! Also, never over tighten non load bearing screws!! Only those that hold the chasis in place really need to be over tight. As the whole heat sinc is pretty much naturally held in place, the screw is just there to stop it accidentally loosening.
