With AC, it doesn't really matter unless you have a system like we do in the 
UK. In the UK the wires are green- yellow striped, brown and blue, and brown 
being live, blue neutral and the other is earth. Brown goes to the fuse in the 
plug. You don't get 2 pinned plugs, ever. The fuse in the plug augments the 
fusebox. 

In reality, a 2 pin system will likely work either way round, as AC cycles, 
rather that sending direct current. 

My UK yoyo does not use the third pin at all (no connection to the terminal), 
so 2 pin should be fine.
