Hi Im running Leopard on my TiBook 500Mhz. Everything seems fine, performance is pretty good, but I have just noticed a problem.
When I wake from sleep the menu bar at the top - only the right hand side which has the Airport, sound, battery, date and Spotlight icons stops responding. If you hover your mouse over the menu it just shows a spinning SPOD and wont allow you to click on anything. The left hand side works fine, for all apps. Even the Finder works menus work - even when the other end has crashed. Interestingly it is only a graphical glitch - must be related to running Leopard on such a machine. Airport still works. It still wakes and reconnects to my network but the icon doesnt show this. The battery icon and clock are also stuck, they do not move or change. Oddly too DropBox and Skype are at the beginning of this menu and they still work and I can access them, but everything related to wireless doesnt and anything after it just SPODs. I should say I am using a PCMCIA wireless card and not an internal Airport card. It is a Buffalo card so is recognised by the machine as an Airport and I have used it for years in numous Macs. Is there anyway round this? Is it related to running Leopard on such a machine? Is it related to the PCMCIA slot and powering off while sleeping?
