Hi Bill,

The 10.4.3 DVD - was that a hardware specific install set for your Mac? Did you
include the manual and the booklet with the SLA (Software license agreement) ?
Have you contacted BSA for the exact reason why they ordered eBay to take the
listing down?
As far as I understand it is legal to sell used software DVD´s. It needs to be
the original disk and and has to come with the original documents like install
manual, SLA etc.
You never OWN a software. You just possess the right to use it. By selling an
original software disk you give this right of use to someone else.

What bothers me, is that you can´t officially buy any older MAC OS versions
from Apple any more. They only sell Snow Leopard within their stores. You don´t
get TIGER or PANTHER any more. I am fixing up old Titaniums which usually come
without any install disks. It would be great if I could buy an older OS from
Apple for a reasonable price. Instead I have to get a possibly questionable
copy on eBay for horrendous prices. But that is another issue, I guess.

Keep posting, this is an interesting topic.

Regards
Roland
