My Pismo was running normally until I changed the hard drive and lower
memory card. Everything seemed intact but when I tried to start the
machine, I got nothing—no chime, no action at all. The only thing I
noticed after several minutes was that the machine, which was plugged
into the AC, was getting warm, so it's obvious current is being pumped
into the machine, yet it will not show any life on the screen at all.

Sure would appreciate help with this.
