It has been said that SSD improves battery life, etc. There are a few
folks here who're currently thinking of or actually working on moving to
SSDs for the G3s. Search the group and see if they're made updates to
their projects, or learn from earlier discussions. I may be able to help
with your memory needs, if you contact me off list.
