Hi, Has anyone managed to play YouTube videos on standalone app using G3 at decent speed? I tried MacTubes on my G3 800 mhz iBook, but it seems too slow even if I choose QuickTime as player. YouView runs, but doesnt load any video, showing some info instead.
To makes things clear, I am aware of limititation of this ancient computer so I haven't tried any HD or HD 1080p videos, but rather 480p ones. Oh btw I only have 384 Mb ram, spotlight and bashboard are both disabled, but I guess maxing out RAM shouldn't affect video performance that much (?). Cheers. -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
