They're G-books, no it is not. > > Looking to keep > - Mac.com email address, > - Addressbook, and > - iCal > after the June 30 demise of MobileMe. > > Please point me to a how-to article that allows me to keep these > services after the deadline. The Other Bruce (logical positivism or kantian dynamics, Bruce? 8-) has the right answer for the email. For iCal, your only solution is moving to another calendaring provider.Fortunately Googles calendars are excellent for this purpose. Export your MobileME calendar(s) as .ics file(s) (File > Export > Export ) Go to Google and create a google account (or use an existing one of you want) Log in, and create a calendar for each of the calendar's you exported above. In Google's calendar management pages, you will find a place to import a calendar. Select the google calendar you just created, and select the .ics file you exported from ical. Now you can subscribe to your Google calendars in iCal, and have the same ease of synchronizing and cloud access you had with Mobile Me. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Books, a group for those using G3 iBooks and PowerBooks (we run a separate list for G4 'Books).
