Greetings, listers: I'm using a TiBook 1GHz and Aluminum PowerBook, both on OS X 10.4.11, with three browsers: Firefox 3.6.28, TenFourFox7450 10.0.5 and Safari 4.1.3. I rarely use Safari and split my time between primary browser, TenFourFox, which doesn't use plug-ins, and Firefox 3.6.28, where plug-ins are necessary. For the most part, TenFourFox does what I need, so it's my default browser. Pertinent to Google groups and Google mail, it's faster with fewer error banners.
TenFourFox was developed with OS X 10.4.11 users in mind (users of older PowerBooks should use TenFourFox7400--see its documentation). Once again, I feel like I'm in the middle of an OS X versus OS 9 war with OS X 10.4.11 being snuffed out. I still rely on Classic applications from time to time and must have hardware and software that will accommodate my old files.... JMO...
