What OS are you running?

I had battery issues on both a Lombard and Pismo running OSX. The Lombard 
wouldn't even detect the battery.

I booted to OS9 on both machines and it fixed the issue. It detected the 
battery and got them charging. Booting back to OSX and all was fine.

I never had any problems after that.

A battery which originally was suspected as totally dead, turned out to run for 
about 2 hours.
