Hi What OS are you running?
I had battery issues on both a Lombard and Pismo running OSX. The Lombard wouldn't even detect the battery. I booted to OS9 on both machines and it fixed the issue. It detected the battery and got them charging. Booting back to OSX and all was fine. I never had any problems after that. A battery which originally was suspected as totally dead, turned out to run for about 2 hours.
