Hello everyone,

I'm a new member on this group. I'm not a natural Mac user as I'm trained
in windows, dos and unix based systems. I first came into contact with macs
through a friend's Powerbook G3 as a kid, and later I fixed the very same
mac in a matter of minutes. I've had 4 macs in total, however I only have
two now which I recently bought to fill a mac-shaped void in my life...

I have two macs which I have bought recently:
G4 PowerMac MDD FW400 with a single core 1.25GHz processor
G3 PowerBook 'Lombard' with a 400MHz processor; RAM at its max with 512MB
and a 20GB HDD

I paid about £30 for the lombard and about £25 for the mdd

I'm trying to get OS 9 on the g4 and I have 9.1 on the pb.

I hope to be a fairly active member of this group, and I'm considering
joining the other major groups for g4 macs and os9.

In case you were wondering, I had a blue&white g3 tower (it broke after I
gave it to a relative...) and a macbook white from 2007 (gave up the ghost,
apple didnt help)

Anyway, thanks for letting me join, and I look forward to corresponding
with you all!

Greg
