I'm not sure about your 250 MHz, but for what it's worth, I did use a
Wallstreet for over 6 months, half the time running OS X, sometimes playing
an audio CD which would definitely increase the heat, and I've never had any
of those problems. Other problems, like the PMU going south on me twice, but
other than that, nothing.
