I suppose the thread is in the archives, but there was a brief exchange on this topic several months ago. I followed some of the advice (having experienced the same skipping DVD problems), and although I can't remember what it was, whatever I did, it worked. I can now watch a full DVD w/o it skipping and stalling. That's on a Ti 400, OS 9.1.
