I beg to differ. I have gone through 15 (yes 15) WD hard drives. 14 
of those are 30GB Firewire inclosure drives. and my 60GB drive died 
this past winter. I will never touch Western Digital again. Failure 
after failure after failure. Not to mention a refusal to acknowledge 
their warranty.
