I have a Personal Laserwriter 320 and a Lombard and get it to work. The
main issue with these printers is the LocalTalk connection for
networking and your Pismo is Ethernet. So you need a LocalTalk to
Ethernet bridge to plug into an Ethernet network. I bought mine from
Farallon and it works well, but I'm sure Asante and others make them
too. Once you have the bridge hooked up to the Laserwriter, just plug
the bridge ethernet cable into a hub with Pismo and other computer.
Both computers should then be able to "see" the Laserwriter once you
have the networking settings correct on the computers.

Hope that helps.
