Also remember that even a processor upgrade can only go so far. It will 
speed up most things, yes, but it won't help graphics performance by 
very much (graphics cards aren't replaceable in laptops), and you can't 
increase the bus speed. On a Wallstreet, it'll be stuck at 66 MHz (or 
83 MHz if you have a first generation 250MHz or 292MHz one).

So it'll help a bunch, but there is no replacement for a new computer.
