Just a note on the subject, throughout Mac OS X v.10.1.x when you went to set your default web browser in the Internet Pane of the System Preferences IE was the only pull down menu choice, to choose another you had to choose "other" and go browse for it. I don't know if it changed in 10.2 or in 10.2.1 but now every browser on my Mac shows up along with IE ... its subtle but often those are the most telling clues. Whatever Apple is doing they are going back to war, and they are drawing the line with browsers, lets hope they expand that to office software.
