Anthony, to max out the pismo you'll need 2 512MB SO-Dimms. They're running about $60 each now for reliable but not top-of-the-line memory. There have been a number of emails about 40GB drives, they range from $150-$200 from IBM or Toshiba. Opening the machine is blood simple, but I'd go to www.apple.com and download the manual to walk you through it. Just do a search for Powerbook Firewire Manual, and it should come up. Best of luck!
