.. or suggest a good source for a
30GB drive and a case for the old one?

I just got a 40G travelstar from OWC.   I then got the cheap version 
of the firewire box that is powered by the firewire  (also from OWC ~ 
$69?).   I'm going to put the 40G in my TiBook, my 20G TiBook Drive 
into my Lombard, and my 6G Lombard into the box.
        But for right now, I have the 40G in the spare box.   WOW. 
It is really quiet, and seems as fast as the deskstar in my 
cube--which was really quiet--and very important for the fanless Cube.
        There seems to be an idea that the IBM machines are more 
quiet, durable and reliable, and that they stay quiet longer than 
other quiet drives.   I 'm not sure if anyone has any legitimate 
basis for making that statement, but I bit.
