I am not sure if this particular setting was already present in pre Jaguar
version. In 10.2.1 you can find the setting in
 System Preferences->Network -> Show Airport->Airport Tab

Unfortunately I cannot check if you will find it in 10.1.5 since I have only
Jaguar running.
