Greetings all: I'm upgrading the HD in my Wallstreet, and need to know of any software backup programs that can help me transfer my data over. Specifically, I'm running a standard installation of 10.2 with not much else installed except for Word v.X, so I don't mind re-installing what few applications I have.
My problem is, I don't have USB or Firewire so I can't backup to anything that would need that - my options are basically limited to moving the files to another computer (I have a 7300 running 8.6 and a PC running NT4). I really only need to move my mail (from Mail.app), my IE favorites, and my Documents folder. I figure I can just stuff the Documents folder and transfer it, so the question is, can I just stuff the Users folder to preserve my mail and favorites? Also, if anyone can suggest a good & inexpensive backup program, I'd appreciate that as well. Thanks! _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
