Thanks, I sent them a request. Have loved this 'book, but beginning to weigh the costs of repair against the expected lifespan of other parts, screen, a third set of hinges, processer speed, etc. Unfortunately I still need all the "legacy" ports and connections that this machine brings to me. But weary of power manager problems (this is 3), and my second set of hinges (first were under warranty). Out of warranty now, and so nothing is free.
