Well, I don't use a Wallstreet anymore, and when I had one, memory was still expensive for this machine, so I stayed with 2 128MB SODIMM at 256 MB RAM. I didn't want to suggest that the Wallstreet is able to support 1 GB of RAM in my previous message, as given it's specific architecture, the memory has to be of a certain type, like David Wedge pointed out. Assuming, and that's the big word here, assuming that there exists compatible memory for the Wallstreet in 512MB SODIMMs, then you could have a 1 GB of RAM, but would potentially run into the problem having to swap batteries without AC power. Again, check your favorites RAM reseller as to whether 512 MB SODIMM for the Wallstreet exists. -Laurent. -- ============================================================================ Laurent Daudelin AIM/RV: LaurentDaudelin <http://nemesys.dyndns.org> Logiciels Nemesys Software mailto:laurent.daudelin@;verizon.net geek n.: A person who has chosen concentration rather than conformity; one who pursues skill (especially technical skill) and imagination, not mainstream social acceptance.
