My cat liked to sit on top of my $800.00 Sony Amplifier that I had in my Home Theatre System. One night I heard a very violent popping noise. After investigating I realized she had vomited into it while it was on. The popping was it shorting out. I had to dry it out and have it cleaned and repaired. I never considered having my insurance pay for it. Moral of the story...Make sure to buy anti- furball food for your cat and don't scam your insurance company if at all possible. :-)
