I'm a big fan of the Pismo, even though mine is on the fritz...  Apple 
has a refurbished iceBook 600mhz CD-ROM model now for $800, which seems 
to be about what you'd pay for a Pismo, only you get a warranty and the 
chance to buy AppleCare, certainly something I wish I had at this point.
