I'm using a Laserwriter 360 with my Pismo and my G4 Cube without problems. I picked up a Dayna EtherPrint Adapter (connects localtalk devices to an ethernet network) on eBay for about $25 and print to my 360 via Airport.
It works like a charm. I've used the Orange Micro firewire/scsi adapter with mixed luck. I finally gave in and got rid of my scsi peripherals a while back.
