I had a problem receiving the digests for a day, so I've had to go to
the archives and cut and paste to reply to the responses to my original
post.

I'm not networked nor do I have AirPort. I'm looking for the
simplest and least expensive approach. I am definitely not technically
inclined. A screwdriver in my hand is a weapon of mass destruction. :

You are the second person that has told me about problems with
the Orange adapter. Getting rid of my film scanner is not an option. It
would cost me over $1800 to replace the scanner. What about USB/SCSI
adapters?
