I'm going to take the plunge and upgrade the OS on my Wallstreet.
It's family number M4753, 266 Mhz, 320 Mb RAM, 4 Gb HD (1.9 Gb free).
Ok, so I'm a little behind the curve, I'm going from 8.6 to 9.1.
I want to use the latest airport drivers with my Lucent Wavelan card
(thanks to the list for the recommendation) and the latest drivers want
9.04 or better.

First question:
I have OS 9.0.4 on CD. I also have downloaded the updates to 9.1, 9.2.1
and 9.2.2
Is there any preference between the different flavours of OS 9?
The computer is used for e-mail and text editing, graphic converter is
as close as I come to being a power user.

Second question:
I've always like the idea of separate partitions for the OS and for data
so that you could format the OS partition and do a clean install without
touching your data.
Does this make sense with my wallstreet?
If yes how do I do it?

Thanks
