Well, the alternative is PowerLogix; according to the forum on XLR8YrMac (and considerable discussion on MacInTouch about their WallStreet upgrades) users have had somewhat checkered experience with both Newer and PowerLogix, but of the two I'd probably choose the latter. At least you can contact them directly, which seems to be difficult/impossible with Newer. When I was looking for my Pismo I had some correspondence with the owner of PowerLogix, who seemed to be quite personable; I ended getting a 500 Pismo at a good price instead of the 400 I thought I was going to get, so have put off the G4 upgrade for now.
