Re; Im sorry Im not familiar with the lombard,a pcmica card would be my first guess, is your machine compatale with an airport card? possably a usb pcmica card and then a usb wireless connect? I had same problem with a tower,I got around it with a pci addin card, it worked,sort-of but made the whole machine act flaky.I wish you well.
