Oh, you already ran disk first aid. Duh. I would recommend a reinstall
at this point if nobody else can come up with something...

You could also pop in your OS X installation CD (if you have one). Get
to the installer (it should boot to it automatically if your computer
won't boot normally) and get to Disk Utilities, then use First Aid to
check your hard drive for errors.
