What specific versions of the apps are installed. I just discovered the
other day, that my Excel 4 doesn't work under 9.2.2 (Yes, I don't use it a
lot!) When I try to access the menubar, the app crashes fast and hard. I can
do keyboard shortcuts, but  can't open the menubar. Word 5.0 also doesn't
like 9, but 5.1 works a little better. I don't know if these are universal
problems,  or something specific with my system.
