Here's a nice Yamaha burner at Computer Geeks for $73. I had internal Yamaha installed in a Beige G3 tower I used to own. It worked great. However it was bundled with Toast at the time so I can't speak for software they're bundling with this unit (Ahead Nero Max for Macintosh). Like Alan wrote, don't go USB.
