I've heard some reports that running the combo updater works better
than running the 10.2.3-10.2.4 updater, and running DFA and repair
permissions fixes some problems.

That said I've got a tiBook at work that was completely and utterly
hosed by this update. Boots up, takes a long long time, then comes to a
blue screen with a pointer...nothing else.

It seems as though it's hanging just at the point where it logs in,
just after the Welcome to Mac screen and progress bar. Holding down the
mouse button and left-shift key to avoid autologin doesn't help...I was
hoping it was just something with his user prefs or something, now it
looks as though the login process is screwed.

I'm going to try an Archive&Install tomorrow to try and fix it.

(that said, I just updated my own desktop and several other people at
work have updated theirs, all with no problems...)
