I got mine last week, and I really, really hate to say it, but it gets too hot. Amazingly hot! The fan really isn't all that loud, but it doesn't seem to cool it down much either. The heat is mostly on the left side of the book, and I don't know what makes it better or worse, but it does seem to vary.
