There is nothing illegal or improper about dissecting your Tibook into a zillion tiny pieces if you really want to... but it will surely void the warranty! There are illustrated tear-downs out there somewhere on the net, but I can't seem to locate one right now. As soon as the 1 year warranty is up on my iBook, I intend to rip her open and replace the measly 20GB 4200 rpm drive with something larger and faster (like the IBM 40GNX).
