i'll agree on this part -- even as a certified tech, with all the Apple supplied takeapart manuals, and having taken apart dozens of these iBooks... even i cringe when people ask me to do these upgrades. there's a couple of places where you can get into serious trouble simply by losing track of what screw came out of what hole. easy enough to keep track of after you've done it several times... but the difference in some of the screws is barely noticeable. but it still doesn't void your warranty, as i explained in a previous post. i just wouldn't suggest anyone actually try to do it. in fact, don't even come to my shop and ask me to do it -- i'm very good at hiding. -- G-Books is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
