Having used two or 3 of them over my lifetime, I'd never use one again,
no matter what the manufacturer promises. My ipod is fed in through the
AUX channel in my Kenwood via an adapter cable that converts the
CD-changer plug to a pair of RCA jacks. I then use a 1/8" male to RCA
male stereo adapter to hook it to my ipod.

Someone out there has a unit that has an FM transmitter and it plugs into the cig
lighter to charge the ipod. I saw a hack for that unit that puts a lineout jack on it
so that you can use your head unit's line in AND have the unti run off of car power
for long trips. Cool idea.
