Don't know about the best, but I've got the Powerlogix and my Pismo was down for less than 7 calendar days to perform the upgrade. Did not have to send in my whole book. Works great, no problems so far. Since you got the G3 500 FW PB, ask to see if they could install a 7410-550MHz cpu instead of just the 500MHz. They may be able to get the 550MHz part.
